Peter,
This is certainly one of the best craft DVD’s I have ever seen. Simple, direct and presented with great skill. I should have guessed that your years at Plimoth, interacting with visitors and demonstrating , sharpened your way of getting information across, but I also sense a real natural presenter here. Years ago I came across an old Del Stubbs DVD on turning that struck me the same way…effortless teaching. So, I have three ‘training’ spoons going now out of a nice, downed birch from my father-in-law’s back yard. What a great way to spend time! Thanks.
Scott
ps…Del Stubbs no longer makes the detailing knife you use in the DVD…bummer! He’s too busy making the hooks and sloyds. I think that’s good, but I do like that knife….
This was the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! Extremely informative and goes at a good pace. The chip carving chapter was especially interesting.
Peter this is real cool.. Jogge said he is doing a spoon video this summer when he comes to Lie-Nielsen To teach…
