15-02; SOLD

Birch, serving/cooking. Works righty, but works best lefty. The birch had aged just right, giving it a nice warm brown color.

15-04 – a perfect birch crook. This was one of those bits of wood that I love to work; a crook that split beautifully, and worked up just as expected.

15-05  – cherry serving spoon. I have a real weak spot for whacky-shaped spoons. This one falls into that category, a decided left-leaning spoon, from a cherry crook that aimed that way.

cherry server. One for the righties, finally. A pronounced scoop/crook. Inscribed “cherry” on the handle, so once it’s worn from years of use, you’ll still be able to tell what wood it is.

15-07 – cherry again. If anything, this one’s weirder than it’s relative #15-05. A smaller server, a nice crook, for a sculptural effect. This cherry tree is providing some interesting stuff.

15-10 – cherry one last time for this batch. A small server from a crook. I think it’s righty, but it will work either way.

A small server, from a slight crook. Apple is always a favorite of mine. Carves very nicely.

15-13. Boxwood. This one’s rare for me. It’s the first spoon I’ve ever carved from box. Harder than nails. Just a touch of chip-carving, I feared for my knife tip. Price reflects the rarity, if you want to take this one from me, you’ll have to pay.

  1. I would love to purchase the boxwood piece, spoon 15-13 if it is available. When and how do I make the payment?
