For those that enjoy this sort of furniture and culture, you might be interested in “Irish Country Furniture” by Claudia Kinmonth. If I had to come up with a list of top 10 books, I would definitely put this one on it (although I see it has now become quite valuable as I got mine when it was still in print). It might be available at your local library.

Best 8 minutes of my day so far. Except for that biscuit joint. The dressers remind me of a butternut bookcase my mom salvaged from an abandoned farm in northern Wisconsin.

thank you peter for suggesting this….i smiled through the entire thing, with the wonderful countryside and homes and pieces and faces, the concept of what they were doing, the ingenious filming, and the voices and language brought a very warm feeling to me…gonna show paula tonight…thanks again, steve
